Let's Get Acquainted
Hi friends! My name is Desiree and I am a true Colorado native. Born and raised in Evergreen, I really love it here and I’m not afraid to share my enthusiasm! This state and town are my heart and my home, and I want to pass that on to you with deep dives into the people, places, and persona of our magical mountain town - and beyond.
With an eclectic background in fashion, sales, restaurants, table gaming, and most recently real estate, my blog posts will build on life experiences, global insight from my times living abroad in Sydney and Queenstown, and an honest love for people and service. I am especially proud of my healing crystal jewelry company, Earthly Roots, and my fundraising efforts for meaningful causes. I love animals, travel, photography, fashion, food, and family… and Evergreen!
My desire is to not only offer my personal stories to the world, but to help people better understand our picturesque little mountain town. I’ve heard from many locals, both new and established, that they don’t know much about the area and all of the vibrant culture - I’m here to share the people, places, businesses, restaurants, events, and landmarks that I absolutely adore.
As a visitor here, you are already part of a remarkable community! Whether you own a local business, showcase your art or music, or are in a neighborhood team or group, we all have the common goal of supporting this awesome town and keeping our lifestyle and economy thriving.
